We have the exterior of the church now finished. There is new siding, new roof, and a repaired foundation. We’re still waiting on some progress on the cross, and we’re hoping to soon put the outdoor lights back on. In the meantime, we’re working inside the church. We’ve been doing demolition in the addition: an old homestead which was attached to the church in 1926. We want to make it a more usable space for fellowship and meetings.
We started gutting the addition, an old homestead attached to the church in 1926.
We removed all drywall and trim, and we plan to remove the center wall.
And we discovered scary surprises like the chimney that goes up at a slant, with a twist, with mortar crumbling. And we sat under that….
We’re fortunate to have a loyal community helping us to do this work!
